1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup (scant) ammonia
water to make 1 gallon.
cleans everything.

1Tbs 90% alcohol
1Tbs vinegar
1-2 cups water
cleans glass. (online formulas all call for 1-2 drops of blue Dawn. I’ve used the combo w & w/o the soap. Some call for cornstarch, which leaves a film. Some call for a pint of 60% alcohol, which I never buy. Some add alcohol to the general cleaner, which I think is unnecessary)

Most glass cleaners can do the job for everything else, although I add some ammonia for floors.

There is a foam glass cleaner w/butane that I swear by. I think it is called Sprayway...tall white spray can with a blue lid. It is phenomenal and I have used it successfully on a lot of grease-based deposits like creosote.

My OCedar mop has a 3 cup container and calls for 2TBS of ammonia or other cleaner and the rest water. Is great for floors. Remember that commercial cleaners that are not concentrates are mostly water.

Pure vinegar cleans everything. I use a 1:3 solution w/water in the shower and sinks. If you have hard water stains, use more vinegar.

For toilets, a 1/2 cup bleach and 3 cups water works fine. So does vinegar. Safe for septics. (have had a septic tank for 45 years, so all these formulas have been tested for that.)

Awesome or Fablulosa not only work well, they work well after being diluted about 1/2 & 1/2 with water.

Baking soda moistened with vinegar will act just like soft scrub. Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide is another good and quick scrub. It acts just like scrubbing bubbles and needs a bit more of a rinse & dry. Make these in small amounts for each use. Baking soda and vinegar will cancel each other if mixed and stored and the initial CO2 build up can explode the bottle. Peroxide will become water over time if exposed to light.

If you want a scent, use essential oils. Color is unnecessary.

I save empty spray bottles. I have one purchased spray bottle dedicated to cleaner with one of those valves on the spray tube so it works at every angle.

Check out online formulas. There are many, You’ll save money, too.
