Who writes this BS a five year old? If the courts show there was inconsistencies in the election they have to choose the electors or risk going to jail for not acting.

I agree that the Constitution requires the legislature to choose the electors (so presumably they have to convene in some form to do that) but it is very unclear to me who exactly is supposed to send them to jail if they fail to perform their duty.
