Good points...my pet word for the “election” is burlesque. If, perhaps hopefully, state legislatures or the Congress were to be sued for electing Trump; I would say there is a good chance they would prevail at the SCOTUS. Roberts etc. would have a hard time, IMO, bucking that one. And the situation you describe would also be very difficult for the court to ignore and have any credibility in the matter. Of course, the courts have in the past spared murderers.

You know what you just hit on a key thing!!

Credibility!!

We have been approaching this from the wrong end.!

We need to lean on the Scotus and threaten their credibility.!

This is not about us having a legitimate case for them to hear we already know that we do.Hell the world knows we do!!

We should not have to beg the scotus to do the right they should be coming to us and thanking us for doing all the hard work we have done! v This is about Scotus maintaining their credibility! We have ours! Trump has his! We know the dems,media and deep state have none.

The question is does the scotus have any credibility! They are the ones who need to be on the hot seat not us!!
