It doesn’t put one out of the running, but it puts McInerney long out of an official intel position—and it increases the likelihood of being beyond one’s peak intwllectual powers. Yes, he refers to having a cloud-based company, but IIRC in this interview he referred to having got the relevant intel just before the election from Mary Fanning.
