The availability to request a firing squad would be a great help, especially for Christians in the USA. Many of us will likely be charged with capital crimes shortly for offenses like gun possession, bad attitude, improper speech, disrespect of federal authorities, telling children no . . .

Torture and murder was more than fine for an innocent, so it’s far more than fine for their own death.

The firing squad gets my vote if it will provide for citizen volunteer participation, something that is not available in the other execution methods.

I'm sure our history is sprinkled with tragic accidental executions, but we're human, and I believe if we approach jury duty as godly minded people, we will make correct choices.

Having said that, if an obvious crime has been committed, and the decision is the death penalty, there is no reason to delay that act with endless appeals that generally go nowhere.
