Bust this monopoly by the balls. Let the libel lawsuits and other actionable charges for all of their content begin.
“Bust this monopoly by the balls. Let the libel lawsuits and other actionable charges for all of their content begin.”
There were three major failures of the Reagan presidency:
1) Keeping George H.W. Bush as VP in the second term.
2) The one time amnesty for illegals and the failure to follow up with effective border security.
3) The cessation of anti-trust prosecution leading to the consolidation of many industries.
Other than the politically inspired anti-trust effort against Microsoft in the 1990’s, which occurred primarily because Microsoft was not spending on political campaigns and the DC power brokers wanted their payments, there has been little use of anti-trust laws to break up anticompetitive corporations. Meanwhile oligopolies have taken over many key markets. Big pharma, big media, big tech, and big banking (too big to fail banks) are the most dangerous to the future of the Republic. Meanwhile small business is being crushed by government and the oligopolists.
Free markets thrive when there is much competition. We need another trust busting era where mega corporations are broken up and multiple competitors must innovate, be efficient, and serve customers in order to survive.
