I was just musing that it would be wonderful if "the Kraken" flipped the House as well . . . but it seems like the Democrats believed too much of their own press clippings to have thought that necessary.Seriously, tho, if someone executes a coup in a banana republic, the first thing they do is take over the radio stations and assure the public that the evil previous regime has been deposed and that the good guys are in charge and must be obeyed. And that is precisely what we see going on in “our” media.
The FCC must be sued into oblivion, and its function seized by the administration. And the conceit of “objective journalism” has to go into the dustbin of history. There should only be, in the etymological sense, philosophers running our central networks - people who limit their claims to loving wisdom and seeking truth. Knowing that there will always be Sophists to contend with . . .
