Most likely Trump had a talk with them, and then he got up and walked away. As he started away, the legislators, for the first time in the lives of GOP office-holders, saw a spine.

Oh, I don’t know. Maybe that they were going to be made personally liable if they don’t follow the law maybe?
That may have some impact on them.
Just about anybody can become a General Flynn if somebody with deep enough pockets makes a claim against them. Personal bankruptcy for legal debts is a terrible thing. Just terrible.
It is about time the other side gets a dose of heavy handed reminders.
