“Smoking guns” and “evidence” are not the problem.
The problem is that there is no one body that can produce the desired result. It must be produced by at least four (possibly five) state legislatures, who would have to (in Arizona’s case) ignore their OWN statutory law, and at least the USSC, which has not yet been given a case, let alone ruled on anything.
It’s not like Team Trump can go to a “court” and there is one result that “overturns” the election.
And everything must be done by De. 8, which I think is just 8 business days away.
Yes, those are problems. You could do it with the right three, but I don’t see any states even mentioning the possibility. I doubt the USCC would overturn elections in three states, I doubt they’d overturn any, but there is a state legislative solution if they should. But that remote possibility also presumes three states voting for Trump electors, and every elector turning out to be loyal. Can’t say I wouldn’t like to see it, but I think pursuing criminal activities is the most important thing to come out of this, and I don’t any states stepping up there either.
I agree with you, LS, and I take your remarks as sardonic, dr. I wish as much as anyone that a different result can be achieved. But both Giuliano and Powell have been long on promises and short on producing the receipts. The “big lawsuit” was to be filed by Powell TODAY. Receipts must be produced, put up or shut up time is upon us, and the December 8 safe harbor date is coming at us like a locomotive.
I don’t believe sedition and treason are crimes handled in state courts.
