Elsewhere I have argued that the GOP needs to be either gutted, with its rank and file replaced by true patriots, or simply put out of its misery, in favor of a new party. Personally, I like a new party named “Christian American Party.” Others prefer the name “MAGA Party,” etc.
The name, of course, is secondary. The critical issue is that there be on the ballot, a party representing honest patriots, the silent majority, with candidates whose purpose is to serve, not to enrich themselves personally.
We are a majority, and we need to start acting like it.
The Rats are a minority, and in any fair election, they will lose again and again.
If the Repugs take a torpedo below the water line, nothing but good will come of it.

I’ve been trying to make the case for a new party for about two years (which actually is a very easy thing to do) but I get a surprising amount of pushback from FReepers.
I think they need to be more open minded and think about the possibilities instead of defending the old order which is not gaining us any ground. I mean, wouldn’t it be nice to vote for a party that actually stands for something and fights for it?
This needs to be done.
I am puzzled at people still defending the Repug establishment as a “pragmatic” or “realistic” solution, or “lesser of two evils.”
Take Loefler, whose husband is the chair of NYSE. To me, there is no doubt that between a small business in GA and a global multi-billion dollar corporation, she will always pick the corporation. Each and every time.
