You are correct that some people do not consider covid a joke; I am among those people. However, I also consider covid a convenient “good reason” to effect tyranny at the state level and, potentially, at the federal level which, by the way, hasn’t lifted a greased palm to “preserve, protect and defend” the U.S. Constitution from its nullification by state tyrants both elected (politicians) and unelected (bureaucrats).
