Only thing I didn't check recently ...are you an open carry state? Will my Michigan CPL have reciprocity out there? LOL, I know that just cos everyone on “Yellowstone” is heavily armed...that family doesn't really pay attention to laws! (Oh, and the show actually films in Utah..which make the list of Top 10 States I have driven thru and would welcome a return to-all located west of the Mississippi. I've kinda gotten around, ;)

We have concealed carry in 99% of the state without permit, some jurisdictions have laws against it. Our new Governor will sign the law that has been vetoed three times by past Governors to allow 100% constitutional carry.

Actually you should visit Lone Mountain Ranch (it’s a ski area — but cross country skiing and you don’t even need to do that) as it is absolutely spectacular.
Otherwise rent a forest service cabin, very rustic and inexpensive.
