The NFL issued new guidance Monday for its operations amid the coronavirus pandemic, most notably making it a requirement for players to wear masks on the sideline unless they have their helmet on and are preparing to enter the game, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.

The high school kids had to do that, including the cheerleaders. Michigan, of course. They created special helmets for them.

The NFL should mandate that players get tested every time they prepare to go out on the field and tested again when they come off the field.

This is all for show -- to show how much the NFL "cares" even though their world-class sports medicine "experts" damn well know especially after all this time that masks don't do anything -- nothing -- to stop transmission of a virus. Nothing.

Oh, stop it. Stop your whining and complaining.
Everyone knows this is a "smart" virus. If you are seated at a table in a restaurant, you cannot catch it. Neither can you transmit it to passerby on a sidewalk if you are seated outside.
But if both people are standing up, it is deadly. Just deadly. But it is not deadly if at least one party is seated.
This, everyone knows.
