NFL makes history with all-Black officiating crew for Monday night football

I guess this is some sort of “history” and it might be meaningful to a few people. But in the first case, most people affiliated with sports wouldn’t even take notice; and second, most people who are sports fans do t go to watch the refs.

And third, and most important, everyone wants the best refs working every game.

None of those things has anything to do with the color of their skin.

I really growing tired of such mundane things—things that are not “special” being held up as “historic.” It has more to do with the scheduling manager than it does with social justice. It’s not history as much as it is trivia.

Who cares about this? People are really reaching when they consider this a historical moment. When three black guys referied a game of millionaires. It’s a moment devoid of cultural importance because that ship sailed years ago. The important racial achievements have all happened, and now America should get over it, and move forward already.

It's working very well on the sheeple. Amazing what they can be force-fed to celebrate and strive for. Shocking, really. And yes, my county is under a mask mandate. And it's drilled into people's heads daily by the local talking heads on the news and recorded messages in stores, etc. I expect the Mark of the Beast will be marketed similarly. (when that time comes - it won't be tomorrow, of course)
