Actually, it could be done in a way that would attract customers. They’d just have to waive the mask requirement for any passenger who presented valid proof of current vaccination and let the vaccinated people return to reasonable air travel with decent food service and drinks. Since Quantas runs a lot of very long international routes, that could be very attractive to long distance travelers.

For example, Clarice Feldman, in her most recent column, said she wasn’t going to visit relatives in Hawaii this year because she’d have to spend 11 hours in airplane wearing a mask and didn’t want to do it. I bet she’d be happy to prove current vaccination in return for waiver of the mask rule.

That would be a reasonable way to handle it, but these days the large organizations are ruled by power-mad insane sociopaths.

I have no desire to fly anywhere since 9-11-even if I did, my strong immune system has produced a bad reaction to any flu vaccine since I was 8 years old-so obviously I’m not going to take a chance again with this vaccine-there are a lot of people like me out there-one size does not fit all-and some of those people are tourists who like to travel...
