Yes. What you said. And they don’t try to hide it. My most leftist relative ALWAYS says things in a way to make sure I know that she sees herself as better and/or smarter than me. We had not talked for some years, but recently have had to communicate due to another change in the family dynamic. But she has not changed a bit in her tone of superiority.
