Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis have released the following statement, "Sidney Powell is practicing law on her own. She is not a member of the Trump Legal Team. She is also not a lawyer for the President in his personal capacity."

Sidney Powell has never seen the German server.

But the military supposedly has it and Sidney thinks the ‘good guys’ have it (so NOT the cia or fbi). So someone other than Sidney is investigating it OFFICIALLY.

This is a mistake by Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis.

It comes across as a public disavowal of Sidney Powell.

It should have been worded to address specific statements the campaign wanted to distance itself from while complimenting her on her capability and dedication.

I’m sure she’s on the up and up. But it’s entirely possible that she’s latched onto the fervor of Trump supporters to feather her own nest. She is raising money from donors separately from the Trump campaign. We are talking potentially millions of dollars, the cost (to her) of which are a few cryptic statements issued to random media personalities. Trump’s statement is meant to dissuade people from donating to her - if you want to support the Trump campaign’s legal efforts, the appropriate place to do so is:
