I’m embarrassed to say I totally forgot anniversary of JFK being killed today.
I turned 7 that day.
Well, myself and my other two sisters.
My father hated JFK with a passion not normally shown in his contenance.
As usual, on Sundays back then, the priest would make hay one year about how such a great Catholic JFK was and my dad flipped. I still cannot understand him being in the Catholic Church. Of course, back when they got married he actually had to sign documentation committing himself to raising any children he and my mom had as Catholics. I am guessing he took that signing seriously.

It is one of those events in life that you can recall with almost perfect memory where you were when you heard the news.
