I was 12 yrs old at time of Kennedy’s assassination. ..I’ve never forgotten the scowl and muttering my father (who rarely said much) did when he saw rest of family watching all the funeral, etc. He fought in Battle of Leyte, I later learned...and I later deducted he thought very little of JFK. Wished I could have discussed with him as an adult. Kennedys have been a pox on America.

A friend of mine spent 27 years in a Cuban prison because the Kennedys refused to honor their promise to the Cuban patriots to give air support. He asked me why there was such a fascination with the Kennedys.
I told him the following, paraphrased:
“You are assuming that ALL Americans feel that way about the Kennedys. There are some of us who do not. It is my own personal opinion that ALL of the Kennedys who have already died should be exhumed, charged, arrested, tried, found guilty of murder, and put on rocket ships which are bound to never return to this planet so that they cannot dirty the planet any more than they already have.”
He cried and said that he was unaware that others felt as he did. I then told him that he should not believe anything which the MSM reports.
Many of the men Kennedys’ age would or should have known how hard it is to get a PT boat cut in half by a jap destroyer. I was five when he was shot. Twenty years later I wondered myself exactly how he managed that.
