The publication of Barack Obama’s new memoir was timed to carry the news cycle, regardless of the election’s outcome. The opinions expressed in “A Promised Land”—on America, race, Donald Trump, and so on—are more vivid than anything Democratic candidate Joe Biden has said in his last year of campaigning.
And so, even after Biden and the press corps have declared him president-elect, he continues to walk in the shadow of his former boss.
Obama wants it understood that Biden is an avatar for a third Obama term. Now he can complete the work of “fundamentally transforming America,” as he put it days before the 2008 election. Hillary Clinton was expected to at least protect what she inherited from Obama. But the victory of Trump, who had campaigned on undoing Obama’s domestic and foreign policy initiatives, left the outgoing president with only two options—watch his successor dismantle his legacy or stop him.
The coup is evidence of his choice. The senior U.S. officials, Democratic Party operatives, and media personalities who targeted the Trump circle for four years weren’t simply defending the privileges of the “Deep State.” These are bureaucrats, deputies, and courtiers who wouldn’t dare an attempt that bold unless it was OK’d from above.
The purpose of the coup was to block Trump from destroying Obama’s legacy until he could find an opening for him to return.

He was saying “We could get SEAL Team” to get President Trump out of the White House. Where does he think he gets the authority to do that? Within a Biden presidency?

It was Obama who was responsible for putting Chlamydia on the ticket. He wanted her to be his successor, but knew she had no chance at all of ever getting the nomination as the top of the ticket. So he needed a fall guy. And, who better than the hapless Joe Biden? Remember, Obama would not endorse Biden; that is, until he struck a deal with Biden: “Put Chlamydia on the ticket as VP and I’ll endorse you.” There is no way Biden would finish a term (think 25th Amendment), but that would assure that Chlamydia became president, because she could never attain that on her own.

A day or 2 ago, I heard a person on the radio saying that Kamela was chosen by Obama to be Biden’s VP.

Not only did Republicans make considerable gains in the House, that no one expected, they won most of the races that will entail redistricting. This is like a double loss for Democrats Every 10 years, after the census, congressional and state legislature districts are redrawn to account for population changes. This gives whoever is drawing the maps the power to maximize the number of districts that favor their party — a tactic known as gerrymandering. And as we wrote last month, the 2020 election represented the last chance for voters to weigh in on who would draw those maps.
Both parties went into the election with a chance to draw more congressional districts than the other, but the end result was just about the best-case scenario for Republicans. As the map below shows, Republicans are set to control the redistricting of 188 congressional seats — or 43 percent of the entire House of Representatives. By contrast, Democrats will control the redistricting of, at most, 73 seats, or 17 percent.

CIRCA 2019 Ex-President Barack Obama announced a new initiative that will help volunteers influence redistricting efforts in states across the country. “Redistricting U,” an extension of his “All On The Line” campaign, will send trainers to provide free training and tools to volunteers about their state redistricting process, gather feedback on ways to improve their communities and teach them how to be leaders in the fair map movement, according to the initiative’s website.
All On The Line, launched earlier this year, is a combination of “Obama’s Organizing For Action” and former Attorney General “Eric Holder’s National Redistricting Action Fund.”
Obama said he has always believed “training is at the heart of organizing.” “It’s why I made it a priority in my 2008 campaign and throughout our larger movement for change in the years since,” Obama said in a statement on the group’s website.
He added, “The movement for fair maps will determine the course of progress on every issue we care about for the next decade. And we can’t wait to begin organizing when the redistricting process starts in 2021. We need to build this movement from the ground up — right now.”
This is the latest effort by Obama to push for voting reform and fight against gerrymandering. The Obamas have long pushed for increased voter participation and fought against partisan gerrymandering.
We ought to defund the Obama Presidential Center (planned for Chicago). This traitor is not entitled to a monument. His plan was to use the building as a training center for future “community organizers.”
Betcha President Trump factored in o’s and his Iranian sidekick’s relocation down the street from Whitehouse in all his “plans.”
