It appears more and more likely that DOJ is simply staying on the sideline for this mess. I would never expect them to “tip the scales”, but their whole reason for existence is to investigate crimes like this. There is clearly probable cause that this warrants an in-depth investigation.

Who will conduct that? The military?

Attorney’s present evidence in court every day in America. The Trump campaign is doing their own investigation. I have no idea if DOJ is looking into any of this and it appears they are not as that would be all over the media.

The Trump campaign still has the ability to present their case to a court. They can be granted the legal right to depose witnesses and/or request the production of documents.

The problem though was stated clearly by Powell and others today. Cases like this take a long time to put together and present in court and that is the rub. We don’t have a lot of time here and that is why they are using the affidavits of fraud and lack of adherence to the law/procedures to try and get the attention of the court.
