America’s Two Largest Republican States Announce They Will Have No More Lockdowns

America’s two largest Republican states — Texas and Florida — have announced that they will not be going into any more lockdowns as coronavirus cases surge across the country. The news comes as 45 out of 50 states have seen at least a 10% increase in coronavirus cases from the previous week.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott “said in an interview that there won’t be ‘any more lockdowns’ in the state and he wants to focus on ‘working to heal those who have Covid’ so they can leave the hospitals and get back to their normal routines,” NBC News reported. “A spokesperson for the governor told NBC News on Wednesday that Abbott’s plan to slow the spread of the virus will rely on ‘the data-driven hospitalization metrics used by doctors and medical experts.'”

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis also dismissed the notion of shutting down his state as cases surge around the country.

Well I've already been thinking about retiring to Florida.

Be careful. If too many more folks retire there it may snap off and float away. Kinda like the Guam tipping issue.

Two states “get it”. This is about the Great Reset, not Coronavirus

Next these states need to pass legislation limiting the Executive’s power to impose lockdowns or other unilateral restrictions without consent of the legislature and/or people.

With both of those policies, I predict people and businesses will move to them and set up shop in droves.

Mississippi is not a large state, but our governor has also announced there will be no more shut downs.

Prior to the previous lockdowns, both states claimed that there would be no lockdowns.

I know I’m grumpy about still wearing face diapers in Florida—but that’s awesome news about Mississippi!

There’s some distribution hubs that moved to North Mississippi after rent in Memphis got too high. This will keep several small businesses open and running—even if we have a shutdown.

The Harris County Judge, Lina Hidalgo, is throwing a holy fit because the governor said no other officials could inactive tougher guidelines than he put in. I am a Republican in a Soros-Democrat county and feel like I live in China.

So happy I live in Florida! I’m not only a FL resident, I’m an RN in a hospital here and have been caring for Covid patients since before anyone knew what it was.

Yes, the virus is real, but the draconian leftist response is total BS. It’s to control the people, not the virus.

“Well I’ve already been thinking about retiring to Florida.”

We’ve been trying to but it hasn’t been easy. Seems lots of unethical real estate criminals are in Florida.

Mike DeWine is a big enough Republican tyrant in Ohio with his overnight curfew and so much more.

The news comes as 45 out of 50 states have seen at least a 10% increase in coronavirus cases from the previous week.

This is BS reporting of just numbers. They need to post the reason why there was a 10% increase. Notice they say "increase in case" and not NEW cases. There is a reason for this.

Here in Alabama we had a huge spike Nov 14. But, if you go to the ADPH website the Corona tracker has a VERY CLEAR STATEMENT that the increase in cases last week we due to the processing/reporting of PCR tests conducted in JULY, AUGUST, SEPTEMBER and OCTOBER that were never reported.

IOW the entire spike is due to reporting numbers from FOUR MONTHS AGO!
