I too am waiting for the vaccines, but already I’m being told ‘not so fast, buster. Keep that mask on until WE say it’s safe.’
Which could be... why, any year now.
And not to be silly, but I have already heard masks compared to seat belts. ‘Well, you wear a seat belt, don’t you? So a mask is the same.’
I posit to you - the ‘mask mandates’ won’t stop here.
Wouldn’t you want to protect yourself from all of the nasty stuff we now know is floating around in public places? Do you think that when this particular bug is in the rear view mirror, that people wearing masks in public, and shaming you for not doing so, will go away?
I see the vaccines out by the early spring. Plus virus stress will increase.
