Back in the early 2000’ s when people were worried about Computer voting machines and their possibly being hacked, we were assured that they were not connected to the Internet; that they were strictly tabulators and that each memory card in it would be removed and taken to the election headquarters where the numbers would be added up. <>
I worked as an election judge and the numbers from each precinct were written on a sheet of paper posted on the wall, updated each hour IIRC. Now we have the Internet and going through foreign countries. This is outrageous.
A “networked file system”.
That could mean...anything. Anything.
What’s stopping a crooked worker from reloading the same memory card (for example from a 95% Rat precinct), over and over again?
