Isn’t the total seat count @ 422? So wouldn’t 212 that make the Republicans winning a majority, since half of 422 is 211?
Never mind: the total is 435; and 422 seats I think were up for re-election this year??? Whatever it is, I’m quite mistaken. :-)
435. 218 is a majority.
