air sonar is best sonar.
it is so much lighter and more... ephemeral than water sonar.
Air sonar washes over you with a calming touch. Water sonar beats upon your senses with sonic hammers.
At our house, we use air sonar as our “table music” during family dinner time because it encourages friendly communication.

I read years ago that they were so loud because the propeller tips exceeded the speed of sound...little sonic booms?
