Would that certification happen BEFORE or AFTER the "comprehensive audit"?
Because a promise to "look into it" after the fact is WORTHLESS.

This whole sordid affair is going to wind up in the Supreme Court and possibly each of the contested state’s Republican led legislatures.
My concern is...does the Supreme Court and the state legislatures have the political willpower to do the right thing. Republican politicians are infamous for their lack of intestinal fortitude.

Possibly encouraged to flip by Trump legal team to get the audit. If fraud is uncovered as expected, that would be huge evidence to spawn audits everywhere.

I read that the FEC, including the Chairman, have no power or authority. More like a think tank or social group. Not sure if that’s true — just what I recall.
The ‘audit’ had better have a couple reliable republican observers at EVERY station that is comparing signatures and recording the tally during the ‘audit’. Meaning the audit BETTER include comparing the signatures. And if the envelop was ‘lost’, then too bad, can’t verify the ballot so can’t count it. If you want an honest election tally from an audit, than that is the bear minimum you have to have.
I seriously doubt that Trump wanted this given his tweet about it.
If they do a complete audit and check everything, that might be good for Trump’s side. Depends on how intense the audit is. Probably just a quick look, “A few things were wrong, human mistakes, doesn’t change anything” is what we get.
No I'm not saying that but POTUS is a lightening rod.
As soon as he shined a light on what they did you know damn well the evil left were probably calling and threatening them, doxing them etc.
