I’ve always been curious what California politics would look like IF.….
- Only traceable paper ballots were used
- ID was required to vote
- Absentee ballots were limited only to overseas military and physically infirm, and had to be in 2 weeks before election
- Registration ended 1 week before Election Day
- Everyone had to actually vote on election day
- Voter rolls were cleared every 10 years
…..You know, if elections were actually clean

No, that is FAR too long. Zero the voter rolls out after every presidential election. You have to go to the Registrar’s office and re-register in person with birth certificate and proof of citizenship. If it is too big of a hardship, get country registrar volunteers to visit the infirm and elderly in their homes.
