Which provides better ventilation without reliance on recirculated air, a mud hut or a NYC skyscraper? You mention lack of private transportation, but isn't walking or riding a camel the ultimate in open-air transportation, better than either automobile or bus? We know that the virus doesn't spread as well outside as it does indoors and rural Africans, whatever other deprivations they suffer, have more access to open air than city-dwellers do, either in Africa or elsewhere.
