GA Secretary of State Claims Republicans Are Pushing Him to Exclude Legal Ballots. Lindsey Graham Responds.

In an interview with The Washington Post, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger claimed Sen. Lindsey Graham, and other Republicans, suggested he find ways to exclude legally cast ballots, which the South Carolina senator denies.

Raffensperger, a Republican, told the Post he was under pressure from within his own party during the recount to bring about a more favorable outcome for President Trump in the state, which Joe Biden narrowly won with roughly 14,000 votes.

In their conversation, Graham questioned Raffensperger about the state’s signature-matching law and whether political bias could have prompted poll workers to accept ballots with nonmatching signatures, according to Raffensperger. Graham also asked whether Raffensperger had the power to toss all mail ballots in counties found to have higher rates of nonmatching signatures, Raffensperger said.

Raffensperger said he was stunned that Graham appeared to suggest that he find a way to toss legally cast ballots. Absent court intervention, Raffensperger doesn’t have the power to do what Graham suggested because counties administer elections in Georgia.

“It sure looked like he was wanting to go down that road,” Raffensperger said. (WaPo)

In an interview with reporters, Graham called Raffensperger’s allegation that he suggested tossing legal ballots “ridiculous.”

“The main issue for me is: How do you protect the integrity of mail-in voting, and how does signature verification work?” the senator explained.

“If he feels threatened by that conversation, he’s got a problem,” Graham said. “I actually thought it was a good conversation.”

Graham’s call to Raffensperger came the same day attorney Lin Wood filed a lawsuit in the state that “seeks to block certification of Georgia’s election until all ballot envelopes are inspected,” according to the Post. But the secretary of state said he plans to fight the lawsuit because it would jeopardize the secrecy of the vote, he said.

Wood has claimed corruption at the highest levels in Georgia and said "it will not stand."

“..What is WITH this guy?...”

Read somewhere that he and the gov are tight with Dominion lobbyists and contracted to bring in their machines. Dunno if true, but it would certainly explain their weird behavior for sure. IF true, they’re both probably crapping in their panties about right now.

What is WITH this guy?

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++=

He made a deal with the ‘devil’ i.e. Stacey Abrams & the Demon Rats ... it was an illegal deal because ONLY the State Legislature can change the law regarding the Federal election in GA. Raffensberger did it unilaterally. He’s probably scared ‘sh!tless’ of the Demon Rats ... also of Atty Wood who seems to have info on ‘corruption’ ....

The corruption may be along these lines (for Raffensberger & Kemp) .... “Powell also contends that according to whistleblowers, some officials received kickbacks to do business with Dominion.” She’s now attaching a number to the kickbacks ... I saw $100 million (haven’t been able to locate again the link where I saw this).

So is Kemp, who appears to be pulling “a Biden” i.e. hiding somewhere. Does he have a basement? /s

“What is WITH this guy?”

It’s a problem that many on our side have. They take attacks on our system as personal attacks on themselves - and they simply CANNOT deal with the fact that maybe the systems that they oversee is broken, even if they didn’t break it (which is likely the case here). So they’d rather oversee a broken/rigged system, than actually take the steps to fix it. After all, life is far easier to let Democrats have their way.

Good for Linda though! I hadn’t heard much recently from him, but it sounds as if he’s really interested in trying to at least make sure Georgia has a somewhat fair Senate runoff (and yes, that is a HUGE DEAL for our side).

"But the secretary of state said he plans to fight the lawsuit because it would jeopardize the secrecy of the vote..."

What the heck? Jeopardize the secrecy of the vote? We don't want secrecy in voting! We want transparency so we know there are no shenanigans going on.

By the way, I checked and confirmed at the local board of elections site, that my vote was counted. What I can not find is just who I voted for. Inquiring here for suggestions?

You cannot find who you voted for. It is not recorded, nor should it be.

The Dominion software purchase by the state bypassed the normal procurement process. This happened on the current SOS’s watch.

That was a $100 million purchase.

If these machines are shown to be the problem in the election, the SOS’s political career is dead.

“She’s now attaching a number to the kickbacks ... I saw $100 million (haven’t been able to locate again the link where I saw this).”

The Dominion system cost the state of GA slightly over $100 million. That’s where you are seeing the number.

There’s no doubt there was plenty of money thrown around in a lobbying effort.

It’s my understanding Dominion was given the contract BEFORE the legally required procurement procedure was completed. If true, and system’s accuracy comes under question, there will be heck to pay politically.

ONLY EXCEPTION MILITARY BALLOTS, past 4 elections, this is #5 28 Military ballots were lost, stolen, dumped, missed deadline because purposefully sent late. No one has counted this Election Military Ballots.

If the Voice can do millions of votes from all over, a way to allow the Military to vote Electronically no matter where stationed can be done.
