My dear HotKat, I used to wish the same, but have learned my prayer needs to be may MY wants be in line with GOD’S will. Bless you friend and never cease to seek God’s plan for your life. I did for way, too long and He finally had to pull the rug out from under me and it was a very, difficult lesson which gave me zero choice but trust Him fully in ways I never realized I could. We will be OK in the end. No matter how difficult the road.
