God, we have some ignorant people on here. (No, I am not calling you God OR including you in “some...”!)
My then 87 y/o Dad had flu caused pneumonia, and at the worst part as he struggled with it, his heart rate went to 150, BP through the roof, for hours despite meds to try to control it. It was probably the worst night of my life, beside him there in the ER. Much more so his. I was expecting a heart attack at any time, but Dad’s cardio-vascular system was amazingly strong from a lifetime of being very active outdoors: That, the docs, and God, got him through it. But, if Dad’s heart had failed, flu would have been listed, correctly, as the underlying cause of death.
Now, are those who want to control us doing a Rahm Emmanuel? Absolutely. But that doesn’t erase what they are using as the crisis.
