Dubious Reports of California’s ‘Sudden Surge’ in COVID-19 Patients
California Globe ^ | November 13, 2020 | Katy Grimes

This ‘surge,’ which is nowhere near July’s spike, has Hospitals on edge?

News reports of a sudden surge in California COVID-19 cases overwhelming hospitals appear dubious at best.

While Governor Gavin Newsom has ramped up testing thus producing more positive tests, he and the state’s public health officials continue to ignore the significant negative test results.

Additionally, there are 74,180 total hospital beds in the state, according to the California Department of Public Health. The state COVID dashboard shows 4,002 patients hospitalized in California for COVID-19.

There are more than 439 hospitals in California, and more than 10,000 health care facilities. Are we expected to believe that Gov. Newsom is locking down the state again over concerns that hospitals may be overwhelmed?

We’ve seen that movie – eight months ago we were told to lockdown and shelter-in-place for 14 days to guarantee that the curve of ill patients would flatten and hospitals wouldn’t be overwhelmed.

And they weren’t – not even close. In fact, it was a ridiculous overreaction. And while the governor, public health officials and the media continue to instill fear in the state’s residents, never during that 8 months have hospitals or health care facilities been overwhelmed.

What is happening is the seasonal flu and COVID are now being conflated, likely to keep COVID numbers boosted.

Here is how the Sacramento Bee is hysterically and even gleefully reporting this totalitarian plan:

“Faced with record numbers of COVID-19 cases, Sacramento County health officials will ask the county Board of Supervisors on Tuesday to approve an urgency ordinance that would allow the county to fine businesses that refuse to adhere to state and local virus safety rules.

“The goal, health officials say, is to have more leverage over businesses that defy orders, such as illegally open bars, gyms or restaurants that insist on serving customers indoors. Officials said they would hope to use the threat of fines to persuade businesses to follow the rules.”

Sacramento County health officer Dr. Peter Beilenson “attributed the surge locally to an increase in infections at long-term care facilities, as well as a spate of Halloween week parties in defiance of state and county safety guidelines, as well as other indoor family gatherings. State health leaders have offered similar reasons for the broader increase,” the Bee reported.

Deeper into the article the Bee says, “The patient numbers are not yet near the peak that California experienced in late July.”

Regarding the statistics and COVID-19, many know this is an attempt, and quite an effective one, to destroy the economy and capitalism. Because if it was really about a public health crisis, the hundreds of thousands of unhealthy homeless vagrants living on California streets would be sick and filling up the hospitals.

In speaking with a local consultant and analyst who specializes in statistics, there are several complications with providing COVID numbers are fraudulent:

1. the numbers are pencil-whipped.

2. Influenza numbers are non-existent!

3. The number of new cases seem to be politically driven and erupt with positive economic and/or pro-Trump news events.

4. New COVID-19 cases are impossible to verify because of HIPAA laws. So Newsom and public health officials can lie.

5. New hospital admissions cannot be verified because of HIPAA laws.

6. Past hospital COVID-19 admissions were fake (Elmhurst Hospital in Queens NY used actors standing in line pretending to be COVID-19 cases). Plus, many hospitals around the country barely had any patients.

The governor and public health officials are clearly coordinating messaging to scare Californians into complying with a lockdown for Thanksgiving and Christmas, as the Bee reports:

“Health leaders also are warning that the combination of Thanksgiving and other indoor holiday family gatherings, along with general ‘pandemic fatigue,’ will lead to increased virus spread.”

And rather than delving into the reported numbers, the Bee interviewed hospital administrators and executives.

Here are current COVID-19 statistics for California this week:

20,342,072 tests given to California residents for COVID-19.

991,609 “cases” = people who tested positive for COVID-19.

19,350,463 Californians tested negative for COVID-19 (California COVID dashboard does not include this number).

18,108 deaths in California attributed to COVID-19.

Since the early lockdowns, California businesses have been whipsawed between opening, closing, partially opening, limited to 25% occupancy, performing services outside, mask mandates, and other arbitrary restrictions. Residents have been hammered with gross fear mongering by the governor and public health officials, causing many to wear a mask everywhere they go – out for a walk, bicycle ride, in their cars, and who knows where else.

Notably, Gov. Newsom has not ceased his travel or “gatherings,” as today’s San Francisco Chronicle reports:

“Gov. Gavin Newsom attended a birthday party for one of his political advisers last week that included people from several households, the type of gathering his administration has discouraged during the coronavirus pandemic.

The dinner the night of Nov. 6 at the famed French Laundry in Yountville in Napa County brought together at least 12 people to celebrate the 50th birthday of Jason Kinney, a longtime friend and political adviser to Newsom who is also a partner at the lobbying firm Axiom Advisors. In addition to the governor, his wife, Jennifer Siebel Newsom, was in attendance.

State guidelines limit gatherings, defined as “social situations that bring together people from different households at the same time in a single space or place,” to no more than three households. Representatives for Kinney and Newsom declined to specify how many households the diners represented, but did not dispute that it was more than three.

“Something extremely bogus is going on. Was tested for covid four times today. Two tests came back negative, two came back positive,” Musk said on Twitter. “Same machine, same test, same nurse. Rapid antigen test from BD.”

I had a carpal tunnel procedure today at Kaiser in Santa Clara. I asked the OR nurse about Covid cases in hospital. She said that yes, people are coming in with Covid, they get treated, go home and recover. It’s nowhere near the panic that the news keeps front and center. She says it makes her so mad that everyone is buying into the pandemic porn that is relentless.
