It looks like he has tried. For example, he signed an executive order to help secure elections back in 2018. But it appears the government executives who executed the order, turned it into a ballot stuffing operation for the Democrats, instead. See more here, hat tip to MAGAthon:

AT&T’s new Chairman of the Board is William Kennard.
William Kennard also sits on the Executive Board of Dominion Voting Systems.
He got ACB in place for what he knew was coming.
Wouldn’t it stand to reason if President Trump had done “something” about them before the election, we wouldn’t be in this mess now.
The states run the election and “certify” the machines. The feds don’t control them.
It would be really nice if President Trump could actually provide all of the evidence proving his point that all of this would change enough votes to change the election.
So far, I have yet to see it.
All I have seen is a lot of tweets and I am starting to get sick and tired of these tweets.
What I have seen is the Rats outflanking Trump team to ensure its highly motivated base and the moderate independents (who turned against Trump) would vote in droves using mail in ballots. And, Trump team miscalculated, didn’t have an answer for it and could not overcome the high number of voters that did not like Trump.
It sucks big time but I think this is where we are.
Time is the enemy here. To make the case may have to wait until people start talking.
Once the evidence is there, and we get the House in 2022, it’s Impeachment Time!

Why do you assume he could do something before the election? The attempt to steal this election is just the latest chapter in the now 4 year long bipartisan coup against POTUS.

In other words, many of us, including the President, have been working our asses off to show truth and expose fraud.
What, exactly, have you done?
I'm currently sitting in front of my computer deciphering the algorithm that Dominion used to switch votes in Pennsylvania.
Maybe you can at least chip in a few bucks for all of our efforts?
As others have stated, maybe he did.
People tend to disregard his tweets, but if you think back on it, his “Witch Hunt” tweets were accurate, as were many others back in that time grousing about Sessions, for example, or the intel community, or Comey.
But he lets the legal side play out, and in time his tweets look accurate.
In the present case, while this is admittedly an optimistic view, it sounds like he might be well aware of an operation involving both Dominion and other fraudulent efforts.
I agree with Coulter that long term we need a more effective spokesperson for MAGA - somebody who can explain things clearly and not throw out incendiary or vulgar comments that only inflame the opposition and force supporters to waste time defending and explaining away the gaffes. Also , somebody who has focus and follow-through. Trump blazed the path and broke through old GOP paralysis, now it’s time for a more disciplined leader to take the baton and lead us forward

I can tell you for a FACT (I'm looking at the data as I type) that President Trump won the states of:
1) Georgia 2) Pennsylvania 3) Michigan 4) Arizona 5) Possible Wisconsin (neck and neck)
This is after you remove the votes that were artificially added to Biden in those states by the Dominion software.
Care to challenge me on that?

Sure they did. Trump got massive turnout of blue color and non white votes to offset the pop culture addled suburban Karens voting Chairman Joe.
This election was decided by ballot box stuffing on a historic scale. We’ve never seen anything like it.
The issue with Dominion is the same issue with the mail-in ballots and the pandemic rules and the way violence was handled by different states. Because of Federalism each state is run differently and in many cases the people in charge are either incompetent or influenced by corrupt lobbyists.
The Dominion software package was a security disaster with unencrypted certificate files, shared administrative passwords, easily exploited hacks, and out of control administrative procedures. The general rule in cyber security is if an exploit exists the system it is on must be assumed to be compromised and untrustworthy. There are no logs to detect fraud by knowledgeable insiders. The issue again becomes one of lack of equal protection of legal voting rights between people who vote on secure systems and those in states with unsecure systems like Dominion. As we’ve seen with the chaotic mail-in ballot handling, the lack of security with the Dominion system is a feature and not a bug to corrupt governments.
