Yes, it's science. But not complicated science, ust simple measurements of droplets from talking. https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/02786826.2020.1812502?fbclid=IwAR1B89kZL2zU90fPLzm8qTcIwqjfZRqCvTFPykeX27YzMvUd__a0NK8U23Q&

The anti-masker arguments are hyperbolic. Masks may do nothing but they are not oppressive nor a symbol of oppression. They are in fact a non-issue. If they work then the economy will recover faster (other than bars and restaurants). If they don't work, then it doesn't matter.

The only scientific argument I have heard against masks are the herd immunity arguments. I think those are valid. Young people should not be masking up, and in fact in many cases they are not.

The mask itself is benign. Being forced to wear it is not.

I would be a whlle lot more sympathetic if it were actually working...but it is not, obviously.

And, yes, the Swedes apparently got ir right...herd immunity is the way to go..its how all pandemics end.

We keep trying to force people to comply with agendas and dictats. That IS oppression, imho.
