Sometimes ignoring the press is even better, if Trump stopped fighting the press, they would go bankrupt because nobody would care to hear a one sided whine fest 24/7, but instead Trump kept feeding them what they wanted to keep their audience tuned in or clicking on their headlines.
Buyer’s remorse will be over the top with this one. The election was made about Trump’s personality and that is what the Dems and the media did. The question is do we want this adult baby as president? look at his personality, his tweets, what he says about others, etc.
If the race was about policy, Trump would have won a 49 state victory. But it wasn’t it was all about personality. Biden win this because he has the personality of cactus. He is dull, boring and uses his same stupid line “come on man” over and over again. That is all he had.
Look at the first debate, if you graded that debate on policy, Trump won hands down. Trump even got Biden to disown his own policies, in debating that is a big deal and Trump won big if that was how it was graded. However, Americans didn’t watch it based on who has the best policy, they watched it on who has the best manners, and that is why the debate was a disaster for Trump, he would have been better off not going to be honest.
2nd debate, same thing as well. It was a mine field with the moderator being the opponent.
3rd debate, Trump shined because he stuck to policy as much as possible. He showed manners and didn’t interrupt as much. He looked presidential, a leader. Biden looked confused, weak but the 3rd debate didn’t matter, most people already made up their minds by that point.
Harris lost her debate against Pence because she looked crazy and scared people. Pence was Presidential, and people liked that.
Without COVID, the Democrats knew they would have had no shot at beating Trump, it was basically trying to position people for 2024.
Once COVID hit, suddenly they saw Trump as vulnerable, and so basically they grabbed the one guy that could beat Trump, in Biden, because he could get enough White Independent and even Republican voters. But they may find, while it worked in the short-term, long-term it might sow the seeds of their doom. We’ll see. I refuse to believe it’s over no matter what happens.
