President Trump lost votes through fraud, undoubtedly, even if never proven. And, let’s be honest, he lost votes from people who couldn’t name a single policy they disagreed with, they just didn’t like the tweets and they blamed him for Coronavirus. These aren’t voters who post on Free Republic. These are voters, largely low-info, who watch CNN or Fox and believe most of what they’re being told
It should have never been this close for them to steal it.
I do agree Trump is his own worse enemy
I loved his American First policies, what we should have been doing for the past 50 years
A lot of his tweeting was counterproductive, seemed like he just wanted to war with the press, people don’t like that. They elected him to work for us, not start pissing wars with loser news. Sometimes it was just better to ignore some of that and stay focused on the bigger picture.
The coronavirus briefings were a big turn off as well, he was repetitive and even started to “play doctor”, hydrochloroquin, Bleach did not help him with the general public, it was foolish and people wanted someone serious as president. He made “cures” political and that is never good. Fauci was a fraud and should have been dismissed early on.
He had problem with loyalty among the ranks, sometime I wonder if he would have been better recruiting his cabinet and appointments straight from his rallies instead of using the same old loser rinos the float from administration to administration.
Trump should have been killing it against Biden, should have won all 50 states, but Trump prevented that because he always has to focus on his ego and whining about how unfair everything is. That gets tiring, even if it is true.
Understand that the press was always going to do that to Trump no matter what he did, they would find a way to spin everything he did in a negative matter. That's why the job is to continue to chip away at the media's credibility.
If Trump loses this fight and Biden gets in, there's going to be a lot of "Buyer's Remorse". It sucks that Trump can't be ten years younger, or I swear he's a shoo-in to win again in 2024, as people wake up.
I agree wholeheartedly with your entire post, similar sentiments I've shared on this forum at times as well. Trump did things that we loved because, "drinking liberal tears, "owning the libs", and such but that turned off moderate voters who don't spend time on political forums. People here didn't want to hear it, still don't. Many prefer the "safe space" of an echo chamber.
There was a reality show aspect to the Trump Presidency that some people loved, but a lot of people grew tired of it, particularly as the ham-handed response to Coronavirus (not Trump's fault but he was still blamed for it) decimated the economy. It wasn't fun anymore. People wanted normal back.
