OK then - if you get the vaccine and then are exposed to the COVID-19 virus, your chances of getting ill are reduced by 90% so your overall chance of not dying of COVID is:
99.5% for age group >70 vs 95% without vaccine
99.9% for age group <70 vs 99% without vaccine
So if you are >70 that is a meaningful absolute improvement but not so much for those <70.

Yes. The risk/reward ratio for vaccines has always favored taking the vaccine. There's no reason to think this is different.
Ah, let them make up their own minds. Anyone who is in a early vaccine priority group and doesn’t take the vaccine just reduces the wait for those of us in lower (later) priority groups.

I don’t think you should take the vaccine because the govt. wants you to. Take it because it is probably of great benefit to many and a minor inconvenience to yourself. Your liberty is not at stake.......yet.
For choosing to NOT take a vaccine that very well cause serious harm?
Only a fool would allow that vaccine in their body...esp considering the very high survival rates - i.e. >99%
