many grocers are cheating that way all the time. 14oz instead of 16oz. 11.6 oz, 64 oz to 53 oz and so on. Either to hide price increase or deceive unsuspecting consumers or both.
Oh they’ve been doing that for a while now. And not just for beer. And the prices keep going up for less product.
Remember when 2x4 meant 2” by 4”? Yea, me either. Although I did run across them in an old house I was working on. Honest to God 2 by 4s. Rough hewn to boot. And balloon framed from the bottom plate of the first floor to the top plate of the second.
