Purdue had a plurality greater than one percent, so I believe that is too great to trigger a runoff.
There is no reason why Perdue shouldn’t ask that his race be included in the recount. If necessary, he should take legal action to have it included. I still haven’t seen any rational reason why he isn’t insisting on this.
