Alaska win puts Republicans a seat away from keeping Senate majority

Dan Sullivan won re-election in Alaska on Wednesday — putting the Republicans within one seat of maintaining their majority in the U.S. Senate.

The Republican incumbent defeated independent challenger Al Gross who was running with the backing of Democrats, meaning control of the Senate will come down to two runoff elections in Georgia between GOP Sen. Kelly Loeffler and the Rev. Raphael Warnock and Republican Sen. David Perdue and Democrat Jon Ossoff.

It appears that Georgia law requires voters in any runoff election to have been eligible to vote in the general election. Here is sec. (10) of the Georgia Code Title 21 Elections: 21-2-501 (10) The run-off primary, special primary runoff, run-off election, or special election runoff shall be a continuation of the primary, special primary, election, or special election for the particular office concerned.  Only the electors who were duly registered to vote and not subsequently deemed disqualified to vote in the primary, special primary, election, or special election for candidates for that particular office shall be entitled to vote therein, and only those votes cast for the persons designated as candidates in such run-off primary, special primary runoff, run-off election, or special election runoff shall be counted in the tabulation and canvass of the votes cast.  No elector shall vote in a run-off primary or special primary runoff in violation of Code Section 21-2-224 .

Tillis’ win made it 49-48. The win in Alaska makes it 50-48.

John James is fighting. His fight is also important for the Trump campaign fight in Michigan.

Given the sensitivity about fraud now and the scrutiny, it will be very hard for the left to run the same scam in Georgia and I believe Trump will do everything he can to put the pubbies over the top there.

We are now in striking distance to take back the house in 2022. In fact, given the current climate and the coming redistricting by mostly GOP legislatures I would say it is probable. The democrats also have more vulnerable senate seats in 2022 and 2024.

This is why it is so important that Trump fight this sham. If he wins, there is a decent chance he could have a Trumpian GOP house in his last two years and a senate being pulled towards him by politics.

We could codify Trumpism for generations to come. Why else would the left and media howl so loudly to protect the steal? They have bet everything on the big steal.
