So even for him and the others screw the workers by crazy low unemployment benefits, this move to protect the businesses will directly affect the welfare of the workers!
No businesses = no workers = no jobs or money!
// ...allows for death to be the punishment for a property crime and that is cruel and unusual punishment. We cannot live in a lawless society where taking a life is done so casually and recklessly. - Denise Georges Miami prosecutor / anti Stand Your Ground //
The obvious as already pointed out above: Dont do the crime in the first place - esp if you know death could result.
Property damage as weve seen is not simply keying a car or knocking down a mailbox. Weve seen how quickly shattered windows of car, house, business lead to violent intrusion, setting fires, severe injury, DEATH of occupants.
Lawful gun owners would not take a life casually or recklessly. Who in their right mind would invite such grief?! We, unlike criminal thugs, face severe penalties for wrongly drawing & firing even w Stand Your Ground esp if death is result. Not only criminal charges as well as civil case by angry He was such a good boy family + misrepresentation by local & national media & individuals + (ironically) riots with more destruction. Yes! It’s about time. Rioters, looters, arsonists should be shot on sight.
I need to clarify/correct my original statement:
My zipcode is for some reason barred to get ammo shipped to and I've no idea why. Calls to my local village offices go unanswered. FTR, I don't live in a bad neighborhood, quite the opposite actually. So buying ammo online for me is out. Then again, I've got at least 1,000 rounds for every weapon I own so I personally am not worried.
Assuming I was willing to pay the gouging prices online, I could easily have additional ammo sent to my GF's house who's zipcode isn't blacklisted.
I LOVE our governor!
Here’s a discussion on Reddit addressing your issue -

That’s interesting. I haven’t found a single online dealer that will deliver to my zipcode and I have my FOID and Conceal/Carry. Doesn’t seem to matter to them. WTF am I doing wrong?
I live @ 20 minutes away from the Bass Pro Shop in Bolingbrook, IL mentioned on that thread. I’m also about 25-30 minutes from Megasports in Plainfield that gets ammo shipments daily. They sell out of the ammo they receive about 15 minutes after open. If you’re not in line waiting when the store opens, and you’re not in the first 10-15 people in the store, your’re SOL. Megasports doesn’t limit ammo purchases. I do not know if Bass Pro Shops does, I’ve not been there in well over 2 years now.
