[Remember WWI? Wilson got us into that after promising the people that he would not.

Remember WWII? FDR got us into that after promising the people that he would not.

Remember Korea? Truman

Remember Vietnam? JFK

Those were all Democrats. Ball’s back in your court.]

WWI was a matter of deciding whether we wanted to become a German state. Ditto for WWII. Korea and Vietnam were a matter of holding back Soviet advances, and of deferring to public angst at the spread of communism across the globe. No particular Democratic love for any of these wars, which got in the way of Democratic initiatives. And the latter set they underfunded and micromanaged, to their own political detriment.

“WWI was a matter of deciding whether we wanted to become a German state. Ditto for WWII.”

Ludicrous.

One of us failed history. I graduated from every school I’ve attended with an A average.
