Cindy McCain, the widow of late Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), discusses the evolution of Arizona’s party lines and expressed her joy for Joe Biden winning the 2020 presidential election.

"Most of all right now what I want is for this country to be no longer divided, but to work together,” McCain said. "That’s the reason I endorsed Joe. All the other stuff is ... unnecessary but it doesn’t matter in the scheme of things. What matters is that we do the right thing for our country."

"This is an administration that’s going to be all-inclusive and there is a role for Republicans in the administration," McCain said. "Our party, on the other hand, I think what we will see is probably a bit of a change. Our party was almost the party that was the party of inclusion."
