Orange County has announced that it will conduct a voluntary audit of its 2020 presidential election ballots to ensure the integrity of results.
The risk-limiting audit is not required under California law, the Orange County registrar of voters said, but the procedure is meant to provide “strong statistical evidence” that the outcome of the election is correct.
"Conducting a risk-limiting audit is an excellent way to audit elections and provide an important check on the integrity of the election process," Registrar Neal Kelley said in a news release. “This is a valuable opportunity to utilize the enhanced auditing capability of Orange County's voting system, while at the same time ensuring that the outcomes are true and correct.”

Maybe Orange County needs to import EVEN MORE Chinese nationals so they can flood the system with EVEN MORE counterfeit ballots!
And how about Inyo County while they’re at it? It was red in 2016, listed as 49% Biden / 49% Trump in 2020 but flipped over to Biden.

It certainly won’t change the result in CA, but it’s interesting nonetheless. I spent a fair amount of time in OC this past summer, and I saw huge indications of Trump support throughout the county (signs, flags, kiosks selling Trump gear, etc.). With that said, the large population centers in the northern part of the county (Anaheim, Garden Grove, Irvine) have been trending Democrat and a 55-45 split in favor of Biden isn’t necessarily an absurd result. Will be interesting to see what, if anything, the audit turns up.

Bingo. “Wide spread” is the official weasel word of this situation. We’re supposed to think that if it can be shown that there was no fraud in the states that we all knew would either go Republican or Democrat, that will somehow indicate that there was no fraud in the Swing States either.

I have friends in Costa Mesa. They tell me of almost no one there who like Biden.
Perhaps a manual recount will get some of them back.

Barring late ballot harvesting we should be able to take back seats in the 39th (north OC, Fullerton, Brea) and 48th (central OC, Huntington Beach). Sad they could not take back the 45th (south Irvine, Newport Beach) as most elected city government officials are Republican.

Yes, it is strange. With 85% 0f the vote counted, the latest count shows Biden leading by 30 votes 4,559 to 4,524. Inyo County has been solid Red forever.
Orange County uses a different voting system than Dominion, but I don't know if it's problematic as well.
