Absolutely.
My son went to the University Of Texas his first year of college. He got zero credit for the year...he partied the whole year.
He eventually straightened up and got a PhD in physics from ASU. He's a big shot at a defense contractor in SOCAL now.
(BTW, he was conceived in Golden Gate Park at a Grateful Dead free concert in 1967, 'the summer of love'.")
