The drug company Pfizer said Monday that early analysis showed its Covid-19 vaccine candidate for Covid-19 is more than 90 percent effective in preventing infection.
It said no serious safety concerns were observed in the trial, and that it would apply for emergency use authorization to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration after a key safety hurdle was passed, likely in mid-November.
"Today is a great day for science and humanity," Albert Bourla, Pfizer's chairman and chief executive, said in a statement. "We are reaching this critical milestone in our vaccine development program at a time when the world needs it most with infection rates setting new records."

The only thing bad about this as Mark Levin predicted, is that the vaccine will probably come out in 2021 and guess who will take all the credit with the media backing him up? Joe Biden! Nice thing about a vaccine is that it is a medicine that you sell to people who are not sick.
Good thing too because Covid was last years cold, proven by the fact that so many test positive these days.
Its called herd immunity.
I don’t think you give the American people near enough credit. At a minimum 70 MILLION of us and likely more are well aware of the Presidents involvement in the hasty creation of this vaccine.
besides, Trump is STILL the president and will be at least until January 20 and likely for the following 4 years. This announced success is his victory and only the 10-15% of loons on the Left will know this.

My understanding is depending on the vaccine anywhere from 40-60% effective.
Funny how this comes out less than a week AFTER the election. And the MSM will award Biden all the credit.
The real horror that may come is not that Biden will take credit, the real horror is it will be made MANDATORY and will likely contain elements capable of MARKING and TRACKING Americans.

Big Pharma withheld the cure; not caring how many died. And they did it so they could get an easily bribable President and set whatever price they want.

Usually 50% or less.
Plus, you need a new flu shot each year because flu viruses are constantly mutating.
Just in the last week a massive new genetic study of the COV-19 virus has determined that there are seven new COV-19 strains, plus the original virus, plus more than 100 documented mutations within the new strains.
My prediction - we will be getting COV-19 booster shots each year for the next decade!
Betcha this becomes an annual thing.
Well, I won’t be rolling up my sleeve for this one.
I will never take a stupid vaccine for this trivial virus. Just as I’ve never taken a flu vaccine, nor never contracted the flu.
