I actually had a Millennial British in-law relative tell me that my support for Trump has colored her opinion of me negatively. I’ve known this young woman for around 20 years. We have always been very generous with her and treated her very well. She attacked my ‘so-called Christianity’ as she feels that I’m insincere (she is an atheist) and wanted to know what happened to Love Thy Neighbor. Of course, she has hatred for Trump considering him racist, selfish, etc., etc., etc. Socialists believe that the Government should control everything and everyone and you are selfish if you don’t go along.

Then she unfriended me on FaceBook. Honestly I’m well shut of her. I wouldn’t want her Socialist ‘values’ or ‘character’ tainting my grandchildren. Charity is given freely and there aren’t many charities in Britain. There the Government takes so much, you don’t have any extra to give to others. Jealousy is a sad, empty way to live.

there aren’t many charities in Britain.

??Not many? There are 168,000 registered charities in the UK, with a total income of £48 billion, contributing about £15.3 billion to UK GVA (more than agriculture). Charities fund almost half of medical research. The value of voluntary work is about £22.6 billion.
