Maybe, but I think the Dems are not willing to go there either, and if the Constitutional backstops kick-in, like the SCOTUS, state legislatures, or throwing the election to the House, they will lose and they will have to back down.

If Trump is elected (by the electors or the House) there will be riots, but mainly in Dem controlled areas, so who gives a crap, and Trump will be free to use whatever force is necessary to suppress them.
