Dubya has never been an intellectual giant, but I voted for him because the alternative in 2000 was Internet inventor Al Whore, and in 2004 it was Lurch Kerry. In retrospect, I believe Dubya was the only reasonable choice for 2000, esp. in light of the occurrence of 9/11. He did a good job AT THAT TIME.
However, after that, he began to drift leftward. And after he left office, he REALLY went to sh*t. And he went there fast. I honestly believe he has early Alzheimer’s. You can view photos of him from 2001, then more recent ones, and see by looking at his eyes that he’s not “all there” any more.
